Higginbotham No-Hits Westlake
Matt Higginbotham struck out 10 and walked one in a dominant performance against Westlake striking out the side in the seventh.  Matt Corcoran and Jake Woolley each drove in a run.  The Musketeers moved to 2-0 in Marmonte League play and 6-1 overall.

Guerrero No-Hits Granada Hills
Jordan Guerrero threw a no hitter in the opening game of the Chatsworth Tournament.  He faced three over the minimum striking out nine and walking one.  It was the second no-hitter in as many days for the Musketeers who move to 7-1 with the 5-0 win.  Lance Poole and Matt Higginbotham led the offense with two RBIs each.   
Varsity Goes 3-1 in Arizona
The Musketeers played well in Arizona knocking off national power Broken Arrow in the opener 9-3.  Sean Barry took a no hitter into the 6th inning.  Then sophomore Trevor Weston threw a shutout against New Mexico back-to-back state champion Piedra Vista in the 4-0 win.  Jared Mattera gave up no earned runs over six strong innings against Mullen, Colorado in a 6-1 victory in the third game.  Boulder Creek, Arizona won the nail biter 4-2 on the final day.

Musketeers Raising Bar In Classroom
Ten of our student athletes were 4.0 or above for the first quarter grading period.  All players below a 3.0 will attend mandatory lunch study hall.  Study hall is available to all players looking for a quiet place to study during lunch. 
Barry No-Hits Westlake to 
Complete Sweep
Sean Barry struck out eleven in the 6-0 win at Westlake High School.   It was the second no-hitter in as many years against the Warriors.  Michael Ketring Came up big for the

Musketeers offensively going 3 for 3  with 3 RBIs and a double.  The sweep of the Warriors locks Moorpark, Simi, and Westlake in a tie for fourth place with six league games to play.  Austin Cole and Gunnar Mazur each added two hits  and an RBI to the attack.
